About Me

While I'm not really a fan of this kind of self-indulgent garbage, I think it's worthwhile to know a little bit about the author of a blog.  As such, I'm going to give you a little bit of information on me.

I'm currently 27 years old and I'm a junior Radio, Television, and Video major at the University of the Ozarks in Arkansas.  I took a winding path to getting back into school, but it was all valuable experience.  I've worked in a number of industries, but I've found my passion within media convergence.  Now I'm working towards my degree with a wide world of career options awaiting my arrival.

I have a tendency to take on numerous projects.  I'm currently involved in some broadcasting work for a radio station here in Arkansas and work in the sports information office here on campus.  Spittin' Sports  isn't just the name of my blog; it's the name of my new television program that I'm going to be bringing to the masses.  I developed a sports talk show called SportSoup for our campus radio station, although I'm now only the producer as I work on my other projects.  I also regularly post new content to my YouTube channel as well.

Beyond that, I am a fan of the Green Bay Packers in the NFL, the St. Louis Cardinals in MLB, the Detroit Red Wings in the NHL, the Indiana Pacer in the NBA, and the Tennessee Volunteers, Clemson Tigers, Michigan Wolverines, and Washington Huskies in the college game.  I've lived all over the country, so I tended to latch onto different programs as we moved.

If there's anything else you want to know, you're welcome to ask, but I reserve the right to ignore your request.
